Dory came in and prepped the area, carefully grading the underlayment to slope away from the foundation of the house.
Stone dust was then packed down in a solid layer and the large slabs were settled in place, one by one.
For the final step, polymeric sand was used between the slabs to stabilize the patio and discourage weeds.
An unexpected bonus was the extra stone dust packed in against the foundation.
