Blend Outdoor Design
We think that variety in life is a necessity and that doesn't stop with design. Our approach delivers multiple design concepts early in the design process and offers our homeowners and customers a chance to see their spaces in multiple arrangements that meet the project guidelines. This allows us to showcase more of our creative ideas as we continue to improve our craft on our quest to design the coolest gathering spaces for families and businesses that promotes relaxation and enjoyment.

Our ability to execute the construction of the designs we create expands on our growing capabilities. Our hard working field team delivers quality finish work and custom details that we know are a must. We are looking forward to expanding our project experiences in landscape design and construction in the lovely Pacific Northwest. Over 20 trees were removed and lots and lots of rock hauled away before the re-build began.

After 8 weeks of hard work we finished up just in time for Dwell Magazine to send Benjamin Rasmussen to photograph this for the July/August Issue 2019.

Starting with a cool deck and patio that HDG Architecture's studio already built, we were asked to create shade elements that make the space more useable for their employees and clients.
We incorporated three custom steel planters, two that anchor the 10' x10' cantilevered umbrellas in place and offer flexible shade for the cool new furniture options.
We selected four tables from Dania Furniture and yellow dining chairs from Article for a punch of color.
Using a small pallet of plant material in large masses makes this a great spot to eat lunch, have a meeting or take a quick break from a busy work day.
This property has been improving inside and out since our new homeowner stepped in.
Starting with a bare, sloping back lot full of weeds, we created a more useable backyard highlighted by a comfortable patio space accented with decorative saw-cuts in the sand wash concrete.
Using a small plant pallet we have left space for the homeowner to customize the beds over the next couple seasons.
This space feels much larger than it did before thanks to the new lawn bordered by aluminum edging to give it that crisp finished look with dark fines covering the beds.
Starting life as a new-build, this home left us an empty canvas to create a unique patio arrangement that maximizes entertaining use and allows for gardening and mature plantings.
The Poured-in-place concrete benches offer seating and serving space, while the natural gas firepit sets the tone after dark.
Afternoons out have proven to be pretty relaxing after a long day.
