After serving our country in World War II, Lynn Gripon returned to Texas A&M to complete his studies and received his degree in the new field called "Landscape Art".
He chose League City to apply his trade and, along with his wife, Lorene, settled in the outskirts of town and opened a nursery, giving birth to the company now known as Lynn's Landscaping.
The year was 1951.
Over the years Lynn did not just sit back and watch his little town grow, he was an instrumental force in the development of the community and was always available to lend a hand to a neighbor or get involved with a worthy community project.

Lynn's Water Gardens Center is a retail garden center in the Bay Area with a specialty in water gardening.
Visit Lynn's and you'll find ponds, koi, goldfish, waterlilies and other aquatic plants.
We also carry water features of every type imaginable from the classic tiered fountain to all types of pots.
Our biggest selling water features is our Disappearing Fountains where water flows through and then over a glazed pot or carved stone, and seemingly disappears into the ground.
