We had the opportunity to help two South Park homeowners renovate their historic Spanish-style home to perfection.
When they first saw this house, the homeowners were blown away by the uniqueness of the backyard.
Nestled in a canyon, the backyard had mixed elevations and retaining walls that dated back 100 years.
The topography of the backyard was unlike anything we had ever seen.
The mixed elevations of the backyard made for a fun and challenging project.
In fact, it was hard to wrap our heads around the design at first.
When they first saw this house, the homeowners were blown away by the uniqueness of the backyard.

Nestled in our own neighborhood of South Park, we had the privilege to upgrade a stunning historic home on 29th Street.
Built in 1909, this lot did not offer a large space to work with, but we took the challenge and maximized our client's entertaining space, creating a dreamy backyard for those perfect San Diego evenings.
Our main goals for this outdoor redesign were to provide a lush native landscape with a variety of specimen plants in the front, and create the perfect outdoor entertaining space in the back, with room for a dog to romp.

Party elements include a custom poured fire-pit with accents concrete pavers, an upper level of grass for activities, and a kegerator in the outdoor kitchen.
