Wow - Progressive Tree Service was AMAZING. Their bid came in at half of what other companies asked. They arrived promptly and the crew leader was exceptional. The entire crew worked efficiently, safely, and very intentionally. It was like watching a tree surgeon. They were extraordinarily careful not to damage anything and they cleaned up all of the debris. I am so pleased with their service and I'd give them 10 stars if I could!

Progressive came last week and we could not be any more satisfied with their work. We went for bid to trim two trees in our yard and of the five companies, they were not the low bid but their price was very competitive. The actual trimming, cleanup and overall service were too notch. I will recommend Progressive to anyone looking for tree service. This is a family run and operated business, so you know you are dealing with the owners who actually care about their service and reputation, and it shows. Top notch.

These guys are true professionals. I had a damaged tree coming out of the ground that was leaning toward my house. They were able to get me on the schedule for the following day. When they arrived to remove the tree the foreman (Eloy) noticed that another tree nearby had split at the base and was in danger of falling on our house. They were able to remove both trees by the end of the day. They are clearly a highly skilled and efficient crew. I would recommend them to anyone requiring this kind of service.

They are awesome. They were on schedule and had my tree removed same day after my consultation. Other companies do not do that, instead would charge you just to consult. I needed the tree removed due to a party next day, and they accelerated the service to help my situation. The price is reasonable. I would highly recommend them. Friendly, fast, and thorough! They gave us the lowest quote out of three other services, and they were the most pleasant to deal with. It was fascinating to watch the tree removal process, and the area was spotless when they left. I have already recommended them to four friends needing tree services, and I would never consider using any other company. Awesome!

I don't write reviews often but wanted to take a second to commend the professionalism of Eloy and his crew. I woke up to find our large (50 ft.) pear tree had fallen over and was leaning on our power line and the neighbor's house. I called Progressive at 7:15am, had someone out to take a look at 8:00 am, and work was started on the tree at 10:30 am.

Not only were Eloy and his crew fast but also very friendly, taking the time to answer any questions I had along the way. If you are looking for a professional, responsive and fairly priced. tree service, I cannot recommend Progressive's services enough

The guys at Progressive Tree Service are pros. They removed a tree from my backyard that others couldn't fathom doing it. They are very clean, very careful and very quick. My propriety wasn't damaged nor left as a mess. In fact, one would barely notice that i had a tree in the backyard. I strongly recommend to chose the grinding of the stump as well.doesn't leave any trace of the former tree. Outstanding. Progressive was the first service to respond to the request for quotes, and they provided the most realistic quote for a very difficult job. Two enormous red oaks needed removal, one standing and one fallen - both in a ravine that is difficult to access. Progressive brought in a crane to support the job, and they maneuvered it masterfully through other trees with only inches to spare.

They were timely, efficient, and friendly. They also went above and beyond by reserving/cutting several logs for firewood. Progressive also left the area very clean. They have my highest recommendation.

We needed a very large cottonwood tree removed (including stump grinding) plus the installation of a cable on another one of our old trees. We received more than 8 quotes ranging from $3,800 to $10,000 for the work. Juan from Progressive was extremely responsive to our original request for a quote, personally came out to look at the tree within 48 hours of my initial contact, and took time to explain how his crew would handle the removal.

His pricing was fair and clear (his quote fell on the lower quadrant of the range). He proactively provided copies of his company's insurance and workers' compensation policies, and on the day of removal his crew could not have been more professional, clean and methodical (and safe!). My B rating for responsiveness is only because after he provided the quote he got extremely busy (probably because he's so good at his job) and I had difficulty getting a removal date confirmed. However, he gets extra points for his overall professionalism and for doing exactly what he said he do (he's the kind of guy who's as good as his word). He even provided me with recommendations for landscapers. I highly recommend and will definitely use Progressive in the future for any of our tree needs.

Excellent service and price. Juan came out within 24hrs and provided an estimate. Progressive removed a huge tree in between homes. Their team removed the tree with ease and precision. They seriously made it look easy! I would highly recommend them.

We had sudden limb drop occur this past Sunday on one of our old growth trees and had a great experience working with Juan from Progressive Tree Service! He was at our house within 30 minutes of receiving our call and assembled a team to remove the limb and other debris the same day. The team removed an additional limb from the tree and recommended a more intense pruning to be completed in the next week or two.

We learned that our long-time and very reputable tree service has been removing dead limbs and only doing minimal pruning which is causing our tree limbs are support too much weight. I'm anxious to have the "high and tight" haircut take place and look forward to Progressive's next visit. They left a very clean work environment. Additionally, the limb damaged our privacy fence in multiple locations, even taking out an entire panel. Juan was able to recommend a landscaper who made himself and his team available to come out for the fence repair on Sunday as well.

High marks for this Evanston service! Were it not for the gaping area where our tree shed the limb, and the new wood on our fence, no one would have a clue this ever happened.

He provided a quotation, identified a day with a break in the weather in February, and showed up as scheduled to complete the job. He removed the dead tree quickly and cleanly even though it crossed over both my yard and my neighbor's. Overall Progressive Tree did a great job and I would certainly use them for future work.
