I believe the garden is an extension of the living space of your home, an outdoor room in which many of the moments of your life will take place.
Let me create your sanctuary. I blend an art history sensibility with many years a practical horticultural knowledge sourcing sustainable materials and utilizing drought tolerant, low maintenance plants. Most of my gardens feature both California natives and carefully selected non-natives that are appropriate to the terrain, soil type, and exposure of each site and conserve water and do not out-compete our native species.
As an avid beekeeper, plant choices support pollinators like bees, birds, and butterflies, which bring vibrant beauty and magic to the garden. No matter the size of the space or scope of work, I take pride in creating aesthetic, functional spaces that fit harmoniously with the existing site and architecture.
