From the rhododendrons in our mountains to the sea oats on our beach dunes, The Garden Club of North Carolina (GCNC) welcomes you! Enjoy our state flower, the beautiful spring blooming dogwood, and see the beauty of the wildflowers that line our state highways through summer and fall. And, maybe even find the mysterious Venus flytrap that is native to our state.

Throughout North Carolina, GCNC member gardens overflow almost year-round as our members plant trees, beautify our communities, arrange bouquets, protect bees and butterflies and visit or volunteer in North Carolina's public gardens. Our members range in age from our youngest grade school Youth Gardeners all the way to Senior members who still love to play in the dirt.

Come join us! Friends are waiting for you! The Garden Club of North Carolina, Inc is a member of National Garden Clubs, INC and South Atlantic Region of National Garden Clubs, INC.

Each year The Garden Club of North Carolina publishes an annual "Engagement Calendar and Journal" in a 5 " x 8 "sized, full color, glossy paper spiral-bound booklet.
The pages are filled with educational and pictorial information, as well as monthly calendars.
All of the photographs were created and provided by talented members of GCNC garden clubs, and they showcase gardens, plants and creative floral arrangement designs that were seen throughout the state.
More than just a calendar, and more than its gorgeous images, you will find helpful hints for both gardening and floral design throughout the book.
