It all started in 1773 with a nursery in the small rural town of Naarden, Netherlands 4 generations ago by my great, great grandfather Johannus Josephus Jurrissen.
The nursery was named Kweek Lust which translates to "the love of growing."
In the late 1950's my parents moved to the United States and in 1970, because of his "love for growing, " my father decided to strike out on his own and continue his family's legacy.
He named his new landscaping business Naarden Inc. to remember where it all began.
