The Mitschele Family moved to Phoenix, Arizona in 1950.
Albert Mitschele started a mulch business called "Cactus Compost" at 32nd St. & Greenway in 1955.
Albert's (Mulch ) suppliers were Turf Paradise Horse Track on Bell Rd., local Ranchers & Landscapers.
With his "Special Blend" of Natural Components Albert became well known for "The Best Mulch/Compost" in the state of Arizona.
Albert's Son, Mark Mitschele followed in his father's horticultural interest and went to work for Bill Carl's Landscape Maintenance in 1974.
