As a teenager, Doug learned how to run a business working with his grandfather and uncles' Landscape & Nursery business.
Doug graduated from college with a teaching degree, but that entrepreneur bug kept calling to him.
So, in 1985 he and his wife, Cheryl, started a successful landscaping business in East Syracuse, NY.
In 1999, they decided to move to the Charlotte area of North Carolina.
There, they adopted their two wonderful children from Ukraine, Anna and Ryan.
