Phillip Hunter, the owner of Ladera Design, LLC, has practiced landscape design and installed numerous projects in New Braunfels, the Texas Hill Country and surrounding areas since 1996. Phillip has been intrigued with the beauty of the hill country and its flora for as long as he can remember. As a young adult, he attended countless landscape seminars, garden lectures and worked at smaller customer oriented garden centers.
These experiences have been the catalyst behind his passion for creating timeless landscape designs. Phillip's scope of work includes projects ranging in size from small garden homes to residential estate installations. Over the years he has worked alongside many well-known architects and custom home builders in the South Texas and the Hill Country areas.
With over two decades of experience, Phillip continues to refine his style and approach when creating the perfect landscape for his clients. Ladera Design, LLC grew out of Phillip's passion for creating landscapes with a timeless style that are in harmony with the Texas Hill Country.

We are primarily a design/build landscape contractor.
All of the design work we do, is for clients intending for us to install the entire landscape.
We prepare a detailed and thorough proposal that includes a firm price with no forgotten costly surprises.
Most proposals and concept plans will be completed in two weeks after our initial consultation.
Occasionally the process may take more time during late Spring through Summer.
We can typically get started on your project four to six weeks after a plan and budget have been established.
