Martin Nursery
It is a gift to truly have a passion for your career. Time spent outdoors taking in natures landscapes and how natural elements work together has inspired me. As the owner and founder of Martin Nursery, I strive to consciously create and join elements of our landscape plans naturally. This has been a passion of mine since I established the company in 1992 while earning a degree from Cornell University in Plant Science and Ornamental Horticulture.

After graduating, the company progression and development lead us to open our Design Studio and office in Randolph, New Jersey and field production tree farm in East Amwell, New Jersey. Through experience and education, my company and design process has developed and evolved to be seen as one of the areas most recognized landscape design-build firms.

I continue to look forward to interpreting the visions of our clients and transforming their properties into their dream spaces.
Services
Effective projects start with an all inclusive conceptual plan that may include: pools and water features, pool houses, outdoor rooms and kitchens, dinning alcoves, cozy areas for conversation with fire features, open flowing lawn areas, gardens with ambiance lighting, naturalizing buffers and screening.
Construction of a multifaceted project takes the talent of many people.
At Martin Nursery, we assign a manager to each project to ensure open dialogue with the client eliminating their need to speak with multiple contractors.
A personalized plan complements the architecture of the home and buildings on the property and works with the environmental conditions and constraints of the site to create a natural and sustainable setting.
The lifestyle and personality of our clients are reflective and seamlessly incorporated into elements and features of their plan.
The aesthetics and functionality are carefully planned to both stimulate and sooth the scenes.
Whether it is your initial view and impression when entering a property or relaxing within an intended area; colors, textures and fragrances are critical as are the choices of hardscape materials and ornamental plants.
Developing a landscape project, whether big or small, can be intimidating for a home owner.
A project can dissolve into layers of confusion when multiple craftsmen, specialists, and sub-contractors are required.
However, the process can be seamless with direct communication between the client and project manager.
Many of our projects have a number of professionals involved in their development and execution: landscape architects / designers, engineers, plumbers, electricians, carpenters and general contractors to name a few.
We have been growing trees on our 50 acre farm in East Amwell, NJ, since 1999, and we produce many of the ornamental plants we install in our landscape designs.
It is a passion of mine to be able to nurture seedlings and produce specimen plants to be utilized in natural settings in a landscape.
On our farm, I am able to cultivate and transplant living trees into my client's landscapes.
Take a minute to see how your family can enjoy the experience of a New Jersey farm and joy of a tree you cut to celebrate your holiday season.
