Between seeing the job from multiple perspectives and building the project either on paper or with a hands-on approach, he cares about the craftsmanship.

He is a LEED Accredited Professional, which makes him uniquely qualified for projects that need to meet specific sustainable and environmental criteria, but he enjoys the creative challenges of creating custom home landscapes as well.

Not only does Jake have over 13 years of experience in the landscape industry, he has also spent most of his life building and fixing things.
Growing up on a farm, Jake learned how to use heavy equipment at a young age.
Jake began his landscape career as a maintenance laborer; he quickly moved up to crew leader his first season and ran a crew of two to six employees for six years.
He then went to a landscape construction driven company to learn that side of the industry, working his way up to Landscape Construction Production Manager (working as a Landscape Maintenance Production Manager at the same time).
