When we first started we had only a small push mower and a John Deer tractor.
We have grown since then, and now have a full landscaping maintenance company.

Mulch is not just for looks.
It enhances your landscape by also creating a natural barrier between the dirt underneath, and the seeds from weeds and other plants trying to get in from above.
A nice, healthy layer of mulch (2"-3") can also block out sunlight for anything trying to grow through it and kill it.
And lastly, the fines in the mulch provide nutrients to the plants in it, helping the plants to grow stronger.
Mulch can be used without and type of landscape fabric, but the one down side is that if you do not reapply some mulch ever 1-2 years, then it can start to thin out and also lose its color.
