We must be doing something right, Greenland Landscape Co has been in business for almost 7 decades! From a small road side "country" farm stand on Forest Ave in Paramus called the Garden Shop, Mr and Mrs. Weiss began selling landscape plants and perennials to the post war GI's. All throughout the '50's and '60's the retail division grew, adding a landscape design and planting division, and a commercial property maintenance division.
In 1970 the name was changed to Greenland Landscape Co. to reflect the large scope of the companies' service. The '70's saw the addition of a Landscape Architecture Division and innovative landscape design. The '80's and '90's added more innovations, and numerous awards in landscape design with new construction techniques.
The new century added more awards, and new environmentally conscious designs, roof top rain gardens, water recapture systems, and sustainable planting designs, including sourcing most materials and plants locally.Greenland continues to evolve, innovate, learn, and implement the best landscape practices.
