Bret, a local native to the Portland area, founded Hillside Landscape Maintenance in the spring of 1997.
He comes from a family of self employed individuals but the family businesses were not his cup of tea, so he decided to go in a whole new direction.
He has always had a love of the outdoors so what better place to work outside than the wonderful Pacific Northwest!
The company started off by providing basic lawn care services to a few family members, and that led to a small number of neighboring clients and through word of mouth things began to grow.
