He struck out on his own, creating New Leaf Landscapes & Concrete.
BJ's journey toward fulfilling this dream began when he was 13 years old working in a Quad Cities garden center.
It continued as he studied landscape architecture at Iowa State University before he returned to the Quad Cities where he's spent the last 16 years as a landscaping professional.
BJ is a member of the American Society of Landscape Architects and is certified by the National Concrete Masonry Association for segmental retaining wall installation.
