Ernie Visnicky grew up in Orange Villate, Ohio and is a 2nd generation Alumni from Orange High School. While working with a friend throughout high school, Ernie expressed the desire of nature and being outdoors. In the late 1990s, Ernie was hired as a landscape laborer at Geauga Lake Amusement Park. Demonstrating his natural hard work and determination during his 2 years of employment at Geauga Lake, Ernie ended up with the job title 'Senior Section Manager', overseeing the landscape and park services departments.
From 1999 through 2006, Ernie worked for a few local landscape companies, and continued to excel in time management, customer satisfaction, attention to detail, and the overall satisfaction of property appearance. Along with the management experience learned throughout his employment at Geauga Lake and the management positions while employed with the 2 local landscape companies, Ernie felt that he was prepared to start his own landscape business.
In 2002, in addition to working full timefor an established landscape company, Ernie Visnicky decided to form Close Cut Landscaping as a part-time business.

In spring, we remove unsightly leaves, branches, and other debris from lawn areas and planting beds.
Ornamental trees and shrubs within planting beds and lawn areas are checked and cleared of any broken branches.
Mulch beds and tree rings are weeded and given a deep, well-manicured trench edge, if scheduled for mulch installation.
Hedges, shrubs, and trees are pruned as needed for a natural, visually appealing shape.
The overall landscape is checked and groomed for optimal appearance.
If we were contracted for snowplowing, any snowplow damage is repaired at no extra charge; otherwise it is billed as an additional charge.
