FAQs about Hydroseeding / Liquid Sod from Pro Landscaping in the Greater Kansas City Area. New construction sites are notorious for leaving undesired soil for landscape and hydroseeding crews to work with. Adding as much as 2 to 4 inches of topsoil to a tough clay subsoil surface may be required for best results (KNOW WHERE YOUR TOPSOIL COMES FROM).

If topsoil and the cost of spreading it evenly over the job site is to costly or not in the plans, best results are usually achieved when rough grade or compacted ground is finished with a landscape tiller-rake or similar powered tractor unit. NO COMPACTION for Best Results! These soil preparation tools make short work of rock's, clump's and provide a smooth, loose surface ready for hydroseeding.

These are the following things you should NOT DO when you're prepping the yard prior to Hydroseeding/LiquidSod. DO NOT do Verticutting nor Aerating compacted ground! Verticutting or Aerating does nothing to the compacted ground for the Hydroseeding process.

You guys did an amazing job and have a wonderful product, I couldn't be more happy with our results!
I have a beautiful back lawn after only 16 days since you sprayed, thank you!
I am ecstatic about Steve and Lisa and Pro Landscaping.
After having to delay several times because of the rain, they came out today and got my newly rototilled lawn sprayed with sod!
It looks amazing.
I have used Pro Landscaping as a subcontractor, as well as referred my customers to them for nearly 10 years.
