All our tree surgeon's pruning cuts comply with modern arboricultural practice that limits the impact of tree surgery on tree health.
Whereby all branches are reduced, in length, back to suitable growth points.
As a result the entire tree crown is reduced in size and volume, whilst retaining the tree's natural shape.
Tree Works has experience when consulting for many different sites.
From building development and conservation to site clearance and woodland maintenance.
Whatever you require we can assess the site and give advise so that you can plan for what's best for the site and for the surroundings.

Tree Works provide a stump removal service when required by employing one of 2 stump grinders.
One that is capable of getting thrugh tight gateways with awkward access and the other, more powerful stump grinding machine in the image to the right.
The grinders have tungsten tipped teeth that mulch the stump below the ground level so that the hole created can be back filled and then reseeded.

Hedge laying is always carried out in the Winter months while the sap is down.
The bottom of the hedge is cleared as much as is practicable to allow the Sun in to encourage as many new shoots as possible.
Each individual tree is then pruned of large side branches.
A partial cut is applied to the back of each stem and one by one woven and staked into a continuous barrier.
Tree Works deal with a wide variety of hedges, large and small.
The key to providing a crisp hedge line is good hand-eye coordination and razor sharp hedge trimmers.
