Custom Cuts Landscape Design, created in 1996 by owner Jeff Patterson, is a family-owned company located in Southern Frederick County, Maryland. What began as a lawn maintenance business in Montgomery County has grown to offer a variety of services to the metro area, including Maryland, Virginia and the District of Columbia. Custom Cuts Landscape Design is a full service landscape company that offers services including but not limited to mowing, patios, retaining walls, tree removal, water features and snow removal.
From proposal to installation and maintenance, we pride ourselves on being part of the entire process. Keeping the customer first has always been and continues to be the goal of our company. Jeff Patterson, owner and operator of Custom Cuts Landscape Design, was born and raised in Silver Spring, MD.
Before beginning Custom Cuts in 1996, he worked for several others in the landscape industry.
In 2001, Jeff graduated from the Institute of Applied Agriculture at the University of Maryland with a degree in Turf Grass Management.
What began as cutting his neighbors lawns has grown into a company that services both residential and commercial landscaping needs.
To this day, the majority of customers have been through referral as Jeff prides himself on being part of the process from beginning to end and keeping the customer's individual needs first.
Before beginning Custom Cuts in 1996, he worked for several others in the landscape industry.

Recently we had our old chain link fence removed and a new wood one installed.
Typically I do not "solicit" the work I've hired (and haven't been asked to do so) but I would like to highly recommend this company.
