In 1965, Joseph Alfonzetti brought his talent and flair for creating beautiful landscapes from Italy to Westchester. In a short time he had established himself as a skilled artisan and creator of distinctive residential landscape arrangements large and small. In 1989 Joe and his son-in-law, Larry Wilson, combined their talents and love of horticulture and became Joseph Alfonzetti and Son, and eventually upon Joe's retirement, Lawrence Landscape Design.

Their focus today remains the same as it did from their inception, science based plant health care, be it lawns, shrubs or trees, and painstaking attention to detail to create colorful, interesting and sustainable landscapes of distinction, large and small. Larry Wilson is an experienced horticulturist who has served his industry and community for decades.

In 2007 he received the Friend of the Green Industry Award from The New York State Turfgrass Association. In 2001 he was awarded the Unity Award by The Bayer Corporation (Bayer Crop Science) for his service to the turfgrass industry.
