We all know that trees & plants produce many products our world has come to heavily rely upon.
As owners of a tree & landscaping service, we feel it is our responsibility to recycle & re-purpose, to the maximum extent, any usable parts of resulting green waste, whether it is lumber from a Redwood tree that had to be taken down or wood chips from a yearly, maintenance pruning job; we do everything we can to ensure nothing is wasted.

The removal featured below was a very sad Sudden Oak Death disease case.
We hated to see this magnificent Quercus agrifolia (California Live Oak) grandmother tree go, but she had failed and had to be taken down for safety reasons.
We highly recommend, if you have Oak trees, to have them evaluated, and, if indicated, to have them treated.
SMA would be happy to provide annual trimming on your Oaks for increased overall health and to oversee any needed spraying, etc. to aid in keeping them alive.

I was lucky enough to be born into an area with large trees in Northern California, so climbing trees has been part of my life since I was a young boy.
Of course, there came a time when I had to fledge the nest and I realized I needed to make a living, so naturally tree climbing and trimming, which was already part of my life, just made sense as a profession.
I love nothing more than learning about trees that are special or unique.
My ideal vacation would be a Tour de Trees, to go see and help trees all over the world.
