The plant nursery, located at the Garden Club, is now open every Thursday morning, 9 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. for sales. We have a wide selection of plants and small trees that we have grown in the nursery. Come by and check us out and browse the gardens. Our Master Gardeners are hard at work keeping the gardens looking great. They are available to answer your questions or help you choose the perfect plant(s) for your garden.
The Marathon Garden Club was organized in 1955 by a group of civic-minded residents who wanted to help improve the appearance of the area. In addition to its community involvement, the club encourages members to improve the gardens and landscaping of their own homes and neighborhoods. Classes are taught by local experts on topics such as floral arrangements, landscape design, conservation, and orchid growing.
In addition to ongoing plant sales, the group hosts a Jamboree in January. The Marathon Garden Club is the perfect place for your next event in the Florida Keys, whether it be a meeting, party, wedding, reception, shower - you name it!

The Marathon Garden Club is pleased to recognize Reef Holdinga as the winner of our 2021 scholarship.
Reef will be attending the University of Central Florida Fall 2021 and will major in computer science.
Reef achieved high grades and college entry test scores.
He participated in marching band, National Honor Society, Interact, Drama Club, and the Technological Education and Engineering Club while in high school.
He volunteered for beach cleanups and also worked at Dynasty Marine.
Reef used extra time during the pandemic shutdown to learn the Dutch language, his father's country of origin.
