The Autrey family began landscaping over 40 years ago when David Autrey (Sr.) started doing local jobs to support his wife & 5 sons.
Then, as the years went by, he began working on larger jobs and expanded into other areas of Western North Carolina.
As he began to focus more on his wholesale nursery business, he decided to turn over the reins to two of his sons, David (Jr.) and Chris.
So in 1995, they bought all the equipment & tools and incorporated the business into what is now known as Autrey Tree & Landscaping Co., Inc.
Then, as the years went by, he began working on larger jobs and expanded into other areas of Western North Carolina.
As he began to focus more on his wholesale nursery business, he decided to turn over the reins to two of his sons, David (Jr.) and Chris.
So in 1995, they bought all the equipment & tools and incorporated the business into what is now known as Autrey Tree & Landscaping Co., Inc.
He has the gift of being able to determine a customer's personality & goals and then create a landscape design that is a reflection of their lifestyle and vision.
He's also one of the nicest guys you will ever meet, so all of our customers love working with him!
He is a NC Licensed Landscape Contractor, NC Certified Plant Professional, and a licensed Landscape Designer.
Chris Autrey (partner) - Operations Manager/President - Chris, along with his brother David, started the company in 1995.
Prior to that, he grew up helping his father in his landscaping business and has over 30 years of on-site experience and an outstanding work ethic.
He's also one of the nicest guys you will ever meet, so all of our customers love working with him!
