Many people request their lawn be cut biweekly in an attempt to save money but this is usually not good for your lawn and may end up costing you more money.
Lawns are healthiest when cut at a height of 3" - 4 1/2", if cut shorter they are less tolerant to drought, pest infestation, weeds, and disease.
It is recommended not to cut more than 1/3rd the length of your grass as it causes damage to the grass blades which can cause your grass to be vulnerable to all of the above.
To maintain a height of 3"-4 1/2" when cutting biweekly you would need to cut more than 1/3rd the length of your grass making it susceptible to problems.
