Spear Landscaping & Development Inc. has been in business since 2016 and is a year round full-service and fully-insured landscaping and construction company. We cover Construction and Estate Design Projects such as drainage tile, hardscape design, grading, sodding and retaining walls. We also cover Yard Care Maintenance for our clients which can include: aeration, thatching, mowing, edging, trimming, fertilization for plant beds, mulching, weeding, and planting.
Each dedicated client receives a Spring and Fall Cleanup which encompasses a full yard makeover. Tom Spear is the owner of Spear Landscaping & Development Inc. and looks over all of the operations of the business. Tom grew up in Itasca and attended Lake Park High School where he played varsity baseball. He went on to play at the college level as catcher and his career was cut short due to a couple serious knee injuries.
Tom wanted to get into this business because he saw a need for an attention to detail on the lawns and curb appeal in the neighborhood around him.

Our secondary location provides Construction & Estate Design project work for the North Shore Suburbs including the towns of Wilmette, Winnetka, and Glenview.
