Frantz Wholesale Nursery has been growing quality trees and shrubs since 1979. With over 400 acres in production, it provides the majority of the products that we sell. New material arrives daily from our growing grounds to ensure that our product is the freshest available. All is acclimated to our Central Valley climate, perfect for your Central Valley yard.
We recommend winter pruning on late spring-to-summer blooming deciduous trees for a few reasons; this is only a few weeks before the buds swell and the sap starts flowing, and the cuts will have healed over. Plants such as crape myrtles and roses bloom better on new wood. This winter pruning helps stimulate that process.
