Owner and Greenville native Dewey Oxner started Oxner Landscaping & Maintenance in 1982 while he was in high school. He was just 17 at the time, a JL Mann Patriot, and playing his favorite sport -- golf -- all the time. Oxner was a regular at the golf course and frequently playing in tournaments. His schedule was full. A friend suggested since he was always at the golf course, he should start cutting their grass to make a little money since he didn't have time for a "regular" part-time job.
That's when the seed was planted and a young entrpreneur emerged. Oxner continued to operate his business through high school and college, recuriting friends to work for him while he was away at school. Upon graduation, Oxner had a list of clients on a monthly maintenance plan and he began to focus on the business full time. For our customers on maintenance plans, Oxner Landscaping & Maintenance will service your yard once a week, every week of the year.
And, all of our team members are in-house full-time employees -- not hourly contractors -- and they all speak English.
