Is your yard wet, wet, wet in some spots, and dry as the desert in others?
Let Superior Lawn Care put together a custom solution to address the drainage issues unique to your property.
After all, it doesn't matter how lovely the landscaping, without proper drainage, your yard and your home can both be in peril.
When it comes to fertilizing your lawn and ridding your yard of pests, the number of product options is staggering.
And with all those choices come a million questions: How much is too much, or not enough?
What's safe to use?
How often do I need to treat?
What happens if I forget to fertilize?
Fortunately, at Superior Lawn Care, we've got all the answers, and we'll be happy to arrange a schedule of proper lawn fertilization and insect abatement that's just right for you.
What you may not be aware of is that the very ingredients that keep your grass and plants healthy can be detrimental to concrete and other hardscape surfaces in your yard.
Many fertilizers contain iron.
Iron oxidizes - but rust doesn't have to be your destiny.
When applying fertilizer, it's paramount to ensure that all surfaces the product comes in contact with - other than the intended soil and flora - are properly washed down to prevent oxidation from occurring.
It's not rocket science.
If you want to keep your driveway from looking like the surface of the moon, all it takes is some H2O and a well-aimed hose.
You've heard it time and again: An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.
Well, in the case of cinch bugs, that old saying couldn't be more true: Left alone, these ornery varmints can decimate your lawn, transforming it from verdant turf into a patchy mess in practically no time at all.
But did you know that a minimal investment in preventive pesticide treatment at the right time of year can stop cinch bugs in their tracks?
If the homeowner at this sorry site had simply spent $40 at the beginning of the summer, and another $40 mid-summer, he could have saved himself the $8,000 price tag of replacing an entire front lawn.
