With this exciting next chapter in our long history, we have closed our retail facility (for now). In order to provide each client a more personal horticultural experience, we are focusing our energy on our Landscape Design and Installation work. We are also expanding our Acorn Lane Farm Operations with many families joining our CSA this year. For now, the petting zoo is closed for public visits but will be part of farm member's experience.

Boone Gardiner is the Louisville areas oldest nursery and garden center, and among the founders of the industry in Kentucky.
The Gardiner family's history in the gardening business predates their arrival in Maryland from Britain.
Francis Boone Gardiner and his brother moved to Fairfield, KY and established Gardiner Brothers Nursery.
In 1899, Boone purchased Fondavera, an estate in Jefferson County, and turned his small homegrown nursery business into Boone Gardiner Garden Center, Nursery and Greenhouses.

Then he drew up plans illustrating our desires and making suggestions to enhance coordination and seasonal changes in color and textures.
The resulting outcome was beautiful and easy to maintain.
Boone Gardiner is the first we call we make if we need a simple garden clean up or landscape design.

Including patios, walls, water features, grill centers, outdoor fireplaces, and complicated drainage solutions.
By handling these phases of construction in-house Boone Gardiner can ensure the highest quality project is completed on time and on budget.
Along with our extremely diverse nursery to pull from, we are able to handle many phases of construction with our own in house hardscape crews.
