Overlooking the Pacific Ocean, this Big Sur property highlights our use of diverse building materials, combining natural and found objects in creative hardscape applications.
River rock and glass dominate the walls and benches, while brick and slate create a unique mosaic patio.

With harsh winds, blazing heat, clay soil, and occasional mountain top snow, this is a tricky site.
Many of the plants we used are drought tolerant, cold hardy, and native to California.
An ecosystem of butterflies, bees, hummingbirds, and all sorts of pollinators have taken residence at this now blooming mountain top oasis of color, smells, and beauty.
