Do you have a love of gardening or a passion for beautiful roses? How about a desire to grow your own fresh and healthy vegetables for your own table or to share with others? If the answer to any of these is yes, then we invite you to become acquainted with our Club. Gardening is our passion and we offer a hobby, a social and a philanthropic organization devoted to successful gardening in our lower Sonoran desert environment.
Member interests are wide and varied, from raising fruit and vegetables to flower and rose gardening and to xeriscape practices using succulents and drought-resistant plants. We use our skills at home and in two common, neighborhood gardens of Sun City. We help our members learn successful gardening techniques unique to our local Arizona environment.
We offer tips on planting, pruning, fertilizing, soil preparation, pollination and planting schedules. Our meetings feature guest speakers, discussions of our tours, activities and social schedule, and a time for meeting like-minded neighbors.

The Club maintains administrative offices at the Grand Center at 10415 W. Grand Ave. Sun City, AZ 85351.
Club activities are conducted throughout Sun City as well as outlying gardens and areas of gardening interest.
Membership is open to all members of the Recreation Centers of Sun City.

The Sun City Garden Club and its predecessor has had a Community Garden almost since Del Webb turned over the keys to the first homeowner.
In 1962, the then Agricultural Club was provided a plot of land near Grand and 107th Avenues.
Today a Fry's Super Market anchors the King's Center, the current occupants of that property and several garden locations have come and gone over the years.
Escalating real estate prices and the lack of undeveloped property in Sun City led us on a 10 year search for a new parcel of land we could call our own.

Use is available to anyone with a valid RCSC and Garden Club membership with operation overseen by a volunteer committee described in the Club's Rules and Regulations.
The greenhouse is located adjacent to the southwest side of the new Grand Center building, and the greenhouse entry is through the Garden Club office located in the west section of the Grand Center.
The mission of the Greenhouse is to offer all Sun City residents, through Garden Club membership, equitable and effective access to desert greenhouse gardening.
