Aztec Landscaping began operating in 1970, conducting business from the city of Lemon Grove. Aztec Landscaping, Inc. has been family owned and operated for the last thirty years. One behalf if the 49th Congressional District, I would like to congratulate you in being chosen as one of the 1999 Multicultural Heritage Award finalists. The commitment you have given to support, educate, and promote diversity and multiculturalism will benefit not only your organization, but the San Diego community as well.

In the mid 1980's, management decided to concentrate on maintenance services.
Since 1985, Aztec Landscaping, Inc. has worked exclusively in the maintenance area.
Our staff has over 250 employees at this time, providing landscape services to such clients as the United States Navy PWC, The County of San Diego, The City of San Diego, City of Chula Vista, City of El Cajon, City of Vista, California State of San Marcos University, Airport of San Diego, City of Oceanside, Caltrans, Sandag, MTS, The Port District, Solar Turbines, Costco, Homeowner Associations and private commercial properties which require a high degree of professional and quality type workmanship.
We have earned a number of satisfied customers which have patronized our services, such clients as the City of San Diego, The City of Chula Vista, shopping centers, hospitals, hotels, condominium complexes and residential customers.
In crown reduction pruning, generally not more than 1/3 of the total area is removed in a single operation.
Crown reduction and deadwood removal have frequently been done in large Ponderosa and Lodgepole pines close to buildings.

ISA has an educationally challenging program designed to upgrade the knowledge and proficiency levels in the profession.
Certification provides a vehicle to convey an arborist's competence and commitment to professionalism to the consumer.
