In 1988, Tom graduated from the University of Arizona, Tucson with a bachelor's degree in landscape architecture.
In 1986 he was among an elite group of students selected to study architecture at the prestigious University de la Salle in Mexico City, Mexico.
This allowed Tom the opportunity to study under internationally acclaimed architects Luis Barragan and Warren Jones.
In 1989 he brought his knowledge and passion for landscape design to Virginia Beach ultimately starting Dreamscape Designers in 1990.
In 1986 he was among an elite group of students selected to study architecture at the prestigious University de la Salle in Mexico City, Mexico.
