I soon realized how much I enjoyed helping my great-grandmother and her friends with their yards and gardens.
I continued with my landscaping and lawn maintenance all during my college education at Southwest Texas State University.
At Texas State I majored in Biology and minored in Chemistry.
I took many courses in Botany and Taxonomy and enjoyed learning all about plants and their environments.
