Southwest Wholesale Nursery is a 60-acre nursery in Carrollton that operates with a hands-on mentality and works daily to supply the landscape professional with the products and services they need to be successful. My favorite part about working at Southwest Nursery is helping customers find the best solutions for their projects. I also love witnessing changes in the seasons, being outside and getting to do something different everyday.
There is a strong camaraderie among the staff members, who make up the Southwest family. Southwest Landscape has provided us with plant material for several projects. I find their personnel to retain Customer Service as a top priority at all times although they provided the lowest bid on several of our projects. I know that when I call or send a bid, their salesmen will be precise, and know my needs and quality that I demand.
They have searched until they uncovered the hard to find items we specified in several of our designs, but most of all it is the quality and quantity of plant material along with the knowledgeable customer service that makes working with Southwest Landscape a pleasure.

Southwest Nursery has been in operation since 1940.
During that time there have been four changes in ownership.
Curtis Taber, the third owner, grew up farming in Van Horn, Texas before earning a degree in Agronomy from Texas A&M University.
He began working at Southwest in 1964.
Throughout the 70's he worked as a Landscape Architect installing landscapes all over Dallas/Ft.
Worth and North Texas.
In 1983 he purchased the nursery outright and moved it to its current location on Sandy Lake Road in Carrollton, beginning a new era.
