Building arbors and trellises is an art much like landscape design.
There are many uses for trellises.
While re-landscaping your backyard how about hiding your A/C units and soften the sound with a nice stained trellis.
Now add an evergreen flowering vine.
Maybe soften the wall outside your back door with a free standing cedar trellis with pots on both sides.
