Our tradition starts way before that!
John Kline was raised on his family farm in south Akron.
He learned about growing - growing vegetables and fruit.
One day he realized he had a knack for this garden growing that he studied lawns, fertilizers, trees and shrubs.
When John was in his mid-thirties, he built Canton Road Garden Center with his business partner, Bill.
After twenty five years, Bill retired.
Canton Road Garden Center is now a 3 - acre nursery filled with landscape plants and a 12,000 square foot greenhouse loaded with gorgeous colorful flowers.
