Tracey Miller has had the pleasure of assisting clients with the design and implementation of unique and enriching environments for over 20 years. She offers a refined sense of detail to her work and is committed to site-specific, client-driven design. She received a Master of Landscape Architecture degree from the University of Virginia and is a registered landscape architect in New York and Connecticut.
Prior to founding Tracey Miller Associates, she was a landscape architect at Stephen Stimson Associates. Her environmentally sensitive designs have received several awards from the Connecticut Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects. She also serves on the Town of Ridgefield Inland Wetlands Board and she teaches at the University of Connecticut.
She began her career as a professional gardener in New York and Connecticut garnering a keen interest in plants and the complexities of plant communities. The daughter of an artist and builder, she grew up in central Kentucky where she spent weekends exploring the countryside with her architectural historian aunt in search of historic stone houses and rock walls.
